Too bad the abstract has only relative measures in it. Given what passes for statistically significant, "greater weight loss and waist circumference reduction" might be not very exciting in practice.

I thought that statistically significant "greater waist circumference reduction" was always exciting.

I've reached the point where I just ignore all studies where individual data points are absent. Nigel is most memorable to me by noting that we are all different!

I wanted an excuse to blog about ProfDr Andro's egg article. In the UK in the 1960's, the Egg Marketing Board had an advertising campaign with the slogan in the title of the picture. See also http://www.advertisingarchives.co.uk/?service=asset&action=show_preview&asset=55171

Then we were warned-off cholesterol and the adverts stopped.
