There's more sugar in it than rice. One 200g serving contains about 6 teaspoonfuls of sugar. Enjoy!

Then there's this FAQ, which appears when you click on the "Info for Diabetics" link on the product page:
'Diabetes UK doesn’t recommend a special diet for people with diabetes. They say “while the emphasis for people with diabetes used to be on severely restricting sugar, it is now recognised that the exclusion of sugar from the diet is both unnecessary and impracticable”.'
My edition of the Concise Oxford defines "impracticable" as "impossible in practice; unmanageable".
However do we low-carbers do it?
We low-carbers manage to do the impossible time and time again. It's the miracles (finally nailing down the lid of the coffin for the "healthy low-fat" diet) that take a little longer!
Nige.
