New beginnings, cot'd.

As a result of New beginnings. , I've demolished my wall and I now want to start a new relationship. I've got a lot of love to give and I want to find that special lady to give it to. Here's the ideal music video.

I won't be blogging so much in future.

P.S. Mum had a Mini Mental State Examination today. She got a score of 12 (out of 28 things that she was physically capable of). 6 months ago, she got a score of 9 (out of 27 things that she was physically capable of). Ketogenic Diet For The Win.

She'll be tested again next year. I found out on Wednesday 23rd March that she is being given 5,000iu/day of D3. I didn't expect that to happen.

That's a shame. I look forward to your erudite - if somewhat idiosyncratic ! - posts. :)

Well done with your Mum, and it will be good to see the results in 6 months. I take Vitamin D, the sameones as you got incidentally.

Good luck with the search. Just remember what Vyv said though ' You just can't trust women !' Remeber the episode ? ( Rik: 'But Vyv, you can't get pregnant just holding hands !'

Vyv: 'Yes, I know. that's what she said. You just can't trust women !'

Have fun.

You can't have a good quality relationship without trust. I think often people have problems with trust because they pretend too much just because they want to please.

Great news about your mom, Nigel! I keep waiting when somebody in the nursery house finely notices that your activity produces results. Probably nurses are too busy to care. What about doctors or other patients children who are in your position?

Glad to hear of your mother's improvement, Nigel. No reason it shouldn't continue, eh?

I won't stop blogging, but as & when I become "loved-up" with that special lady, I'll have other things on my mind!

Re mum: The nature of her condition is a slow deterioration with short-term fluctuations. I'm hoping that the improvement due to improved Vitamin D status will buck the downhill trend for a while, but I'm not expecting her to ever get back to the MMSE score of 26 that she got in 2008.

@Galina: I'm very trusting.

@Galina It was a 'literary reference' ( to an old TV program Nige knows and likes I believe ) and I had my tongue firmly in my cheek when I said it. I adore my wife, and trust her. Completely.

@Nige All loved up....'Other things on my mind' ? 'Well I ever heard it called THAT before !' ( Spot the reference ? ) Good luck, have fun and good to hear you will keep blogging.

I didn't spot that reference.

Blogging is in my blood, as it allows me to put my thoughts & feelings down in writing.

I'll be sure to let you all know if you need to buy a new hat! ;-D

The reference is to the episode where Neil's parents visit and there is a lot about 'The Good Life' and Felicity Kendall. Specifically:

Neil's Dad: 'Felicity Kendall is sweetly pretty and everything a real girlie should be. Speaking as a feminiist myself, I want to protect her.'

Vyv: 'Well I never heard it called THAT before.'

Remember it now ?

What a sad git I am.......

Your memory is better than mine.

Sorry, gentlemen, for being naive. I just wish you, Nigel, all the best.

Nigel Kinbrum said...

No problem Galina and thank you.

chmee & I have watched the same English TV programmes over the years, so you would have no idea what chmee is talking about.

Sometimes, due to having a memory like Emmental cheese, neither do I!

I see you were busy at Peter's blog.
Too bad there are so many people who would rather write ad-hominem attacks or show that they are more clever/educated/articulate than their opponent (and see the whole thing as a fight rather than a civilised argument) rather than concentrate on facts. Why do people write blogs? I thought it's for the people who read them. It seems I'm wrong and it's a totally selfish business. Not many care about the readers and helping others achieve better health by disseminating important knowledge is the last thing on their mind.

I wish you all the best Nige, it's good that you believe you can find somebody for you. (I don't believe in relationships at the moment)

I have been a bit busy on Peter's blog. I shall have a rest now!

Don't give up on relationships just yet. I'm sure that, with a good solicitor, you can sort something out.
