Warning signs to look out for when a heart attack is coming.

R.I.P. Davy Jones. I sang "Daydream Believer" at karaoke two nights running as a tribute.

The article Davy Jones Dead: Warning Signs to Look Out for When a Heart Attack is Coming caught my attention.

"At 66, Davy Jones appears to be living a healthy life. He was a vegetarian. He goes on a regular morning run. He was not just a horse owner but also a rider. Davy Jones seems to be generally fit and healthy to succumb to a deadly heart attack."

He's like H. Jay Dinshah, who also died of a heart attack at the age of 66. I strongly advise vegetarians & vegans to watch "Dr Greger: 2003 - Optimum Vegetarian Nutrition - Omega 3 and B12"

"Throwing up and uneasy, queasy feeling"

My father-in-law started puking like crazy whilst on a bike ride. He went to (the) hospital and eventually got a double bypass. Strange how CHD can manifest itself in this way.

You are probably aware that Daydream Believer was written by John Stewart of Kingston Trio fame. The group that probably did more than any other to launch the pop/folk movement in the 60s US, although Stewart was not an original member.

Yes, I see, so they say what the signs are and they recommend what he probably already did, so does nobody notice the contradiction? My father had a heart attack at 71, vegetarian, skinny, never smoke, no risk factors, according to CW. Doctors were obviously confused, they couldn't repeat the cliches. They said it was TC of 240. Are you joking me? That's probably why he didn't have a fatal one.
Nige,
do you know that women have different signs? I had some left chest sharp pains, I thought I better take some aspirin. Can't be my lungs, what do you think? I know, it's the stress depleting my Bs. I have to rest and start to take care of myself. omega 3s too.

Click on Costochondritis. I had this many years ago after I used to sit slouched over a science book for many hours.

It's horrible, as you think you're having a heart attack. I used to cure it by holding my arms up level with my shoulders and then flinging my elbows back. This really hurt, but after the joints in my sternum clicked, the pain went away, so a moment of intense pain was worth it. I read somewhere that a lack of vitamin D can cause pains in the sternum.

Since I've been on the Big Three (Vitamin D3, Fish Oil & Magnesium), I've felt great and have had no medical problems apart from mild colds.

Yes, I do slouch at a mac Ibook (which means small keyboard and small screen, that is lower than my eyeline), I know, bad for my eyes and for my shoulders/back. I try to straighten my spine, click it back into place and do opposite type of movements to compensate for the curved back.
I'm taking D and Mg, and a multi with K2 in it, plus 1-2 g C, and Se.
That's funny. How can I describe it like 'stabbing'?
I hope you're right, although I don't think so. It is worrying.

It was an intense stabbing pain when I inhaled that made me gasp.

Try flinging your elbows back behind you as if you're rowing a boat. If your sternum clicks and the pain goes away, it's costochondritis!

Hi, Nigel

It is a shame about Davy Jones. I liked many of the Monkees' songs.

I hope your mom is remaining stable. Alzheimer's is a terrible and strange disease. Patients can sometimes repeat full religious pyaers yet not be able to carry on any conversation etc.

Best Wishes,

Raz

Hi Raz,

Mum's pretty stable, thanks. I have plans to put her on Vitamin K2 15mg twice a week in a few weeks' time.

That's the last supplement I'll be putting her on. She'll then be on the same supps as me.

Cheers, Nige.
