Flogging a knackered horse, metaphorically-speaking.

Q. What do you get when you flog a knackered horse?
A dead horse.
A. A dead horse. Like, duh! However, some people do this to themselves.

Coffee is a Central Nervous System (CNS) stimulant. A coffee first thing in the morning after getting out of bed gives you "get up and go". What happens if you carry on drinking coffees or "Energy Drinks" throughout the day? Guess!

Bah. It's okay. I tend to agree. Yet, there's a trend recently for overdoing coffee because if some caffeine is good, then MOAR IS BETTA'!

My limit is 3 Nescafés a day. 1 in the morning, 1 at lunchtime and 1 in the afternoon. Any moar and it's brrrup, brrrap!

There's nothing wrong with a first cup of coffee for the day - unless it's at a time when you're supposed to be asleep!

Sure. I am of the opinion that if one can't have a bit of coffee without having a lot (over 3 strong cups), then they're substantially better off--much healthier--having none at all.

I've already had three coffees today and it's only 11.30

Nigel Kinbrum said...

What time did you get out of bed and what time was your first coffee?

If your three coffees were drunk in rapid succession then Houston, you've got a problem!

Ballomar Cingetorigis said...

First one at about 7 a.m. last one at 11 a.m.

Nigel Kinbrum said...

That's about one every two hours. Do you continue to drink coffees at that rate and if so, up till what time? I'm guessing that they're all caffeinated?

Ballomar Cingetorigis said...

Yes, I could do.

Nigel Kinbrum said...

Hmmm. See that large object that you're pushing? It's your luck.

Ballomar Cingetorigis said...

Really, what might happen?

Nigel Kinbrum said...

Maybe nothing. Maybe something. I know nothing about you, so I couldn't possibly say.

Ballomar Cingetorigis said...

Cryptic.

This is teh interwebz, if people can't mouth off about stuff they aren't qualified in and know nothing about, then what is the world coming to?

Nigel Kinbrum said...

Sorry for spoiling your fun, but I run a quality blog (no, don't laugh!) so I can't afford to get into any trouble, what with me pursuing someone for libel/defamation/harassment an' all!
